Supplementary Teaching Activities

Scholarships and course attendance of the University Regulations on Doctoral Programs, Art. 20, paragraph 3 (Compatible activities): "Doctoral candidates, pursuant to Article 12, paragraph 3, of the Ministerial Decree, may carry out supplementary teaching activities and participate in examination and graduation committees, up to a maximum of forty hours per academic year".

 

1. The doctoral candidate, in agreement with their Supervisor, submits to the Academic Board a request for authorization to carry out supplementary teaching activities;
2. The Academic Board deliberates on the candidate’s request;
3. The Professor in charge of the course, who often coincides with the Supervisor, communicates the request for supplementary teaching activities — submitted by the doctoral candidate and approved by the Academic Board — to the President of the Degree Program to which the course belongs;
4. The Degree Program Council deliberates on the candidate’s request;
5. Once the request has been approved both by the Academic Board of the PhD Program and by the Degree Program Council to which the course belongs, the Department Council to which the course belongs issues the final resolution.
